The Honey Hollow Trail has a mix of fast downhill sections and flat skiing on gentle logging roads. It is a good introduction to the numerous skiing possibilities on Camel's Hump. The Honey Hollow Trail is a great sampler of the ski adventures that Camel's Hump has to offer. The trail, originally cut in 1980 by former Camels Hump Nordic Ski Center owner Dave Brautigan and state forest rangers, drops nearly 1,500 feet in its 5-mile length. This tour has three distinct sections: a gentle 1.8-mile ski through the Camel's Hump Skiers Association trails, a fast 2.4-mile descent, and a rolling 2.8-mile ski on logging roads and woods trails.
Possibility for a late Lunch Celebration at On The Rise Bakery in Richmond.
