Vancouver Young Professionals (VYP) was founded in the Fall of 2006 when a group of busy young professionals recognized the need to create a new venue to meet like minded people.
The mission of the group is to bring back a sense of REAL community by complimenting the more impersonal online mediums used by our members with REAL events for REAL people!
We achieve this mission by allowing our members to CONNECT with others that have similar interests and get introduced to new circles of friends and networks through our extensive list of events. The primary age range for the group is 24-39.
Our Directors and Volunteer Committee help bring exciting new events and sports team opportunities each month!
VYP hosts a number of different events under the following categories:
SOCIAL, SPORT, ACTIVE, VOLUNTEER, and ARTS.
We have held over 250 events and 75 sports teams since our inception in the Fall of 2006 and have over 2,000 members in two cities! Watch for new and exciting developments over the next couple of upcoming months!
