Green Mountain Resevoir
Hi Everyone, ----Please read this entire posting...
I could pssibly turn this into a weekend trip. I am going to a friend's open house Sat. at approx, 5 p.m.ish in Silverthorne, CO. I have a hotel reservation where they agree to "boatsit FOR-PLAY". You cannot make campsite reservations at Green Mountain Reservoir (first-come, first serve) and they usually fill up before Friday afternoon. I can also try if I get enough interest for a cabin close to the lake (if available) if I get enough very serious commitments, otherwise I will just do a day trip and keep my hotel reservation.
The water was glass for all my visits to Green Mountain, very beautiful and mostly "NOT CROWDED"!
What you will need is sunscreen, towels, your lunch and drink (no glass please) a smile and $$ for FOR-PLAY.
I have a PHASE 5 wakesurf, a RONIX wakeboard that I can share with the females, a slalom ski and combo skis and a couple of tubes. You can also bring your own.
I am going to price this for a day trip. If it changes to a weekend trip and adds lodging or campsites, I will change the price.
Basically, I70 west, exit 205 Silverthorne to the right and follow to the reservoir.
A non-refundable deposit will be required before the 10th of August if it turns into a weekend trip. If this remains a day trip, I will email the attendees my address for full payment.
Hope you can make it.
