I am hoping to attend. I have had trouble being in crowds since the marathon. How crowded does this place get? Update...... I think I will have to pass on tonight and find a less crowded place to watch the game. Sorry

It wasn't bad at all. Hope to see you soon.

It didn't used to bother me. I used to go dancing, listen to bands, go to parades.... whatever.... then the bombings happened. I was a volunteer RN in the medical tent at the finish line. Quite a difficult ordeal. Slow but steady recovery. Just concerned about setbacks if I put myself in a situation that I am not ready for.

Happy to have a local venue in Wakefield that does not charge a cover to let us take over the bar area on a quieter week night.

Thank you to all of the fun people from the 3 attending groups. And thank you to Bob and Laurie from Laurie's 909 for letting us take over both bars. Enjoyed the wings and sirloin nacho plate. We will return next Wednesday if there is a Game 7!

Too much to do before I leave for vacation tomorrow!

Expect a crowd tonight. Probably about 30 RSVPs from a bunch of groups plus Laurie's regular customers. This is a great night to go out and support a local Business and cheer for your Home team that will make Boston very proud if they can win their second Stanley Cup in two years, especially nice after the Boston Marathon tragedy. See you there. Go Bruins!

I called Laurie's and spoke to Bob. The 50cent wings are a myth, although they will have some sort of nacho special.

Maybe... on the early side. I like the idea of 50 cent wings (unless that is 50 cents a piece).

Multiple Groups have been invited and are attending.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
