A very friendly group, with convenient and easy outings
Hi John! Thanks for welcoming me into your group. I work odd hours but look forward to making it when I can. I love the idea of exploring the history of this fascinating city!
Thank you for welcoming me. The hiking seems to be very very interesting. I'm discovering William Morris, and I'm happy to learn more.
Thanks for the warm welcome! I'm not sure I'll brave the cold for hiking, but I hope to see you when the weather gets warmer.
My picture was taken at 'cinque terre' in Northern Italy. It's a light hiking path that connects five villages through the ocean or vineyard route. It has been my favorite travel locale to date!
Thank you for the welcome to this meetup group. I look forward to participating in some of the activities. Sharyn
Hi John, Thank you for your greeting and welcome. I hope to participate as my clinic schedule allows. I look forward to joining a hike or two in the coming months. Thank you for organizing this group.
Well John thanks for the greeting. While fascinated by the architecture and engineering of the DC area from the C&O canal and George Washington, Georgetown architecture, the Washington Monument and Mall I also like to look back even further. For example, I would like to hike and find the original boundary stones (http://www.boundarystones.org/). I think it would be fun to hike the boundary in stages (if possible) finding the stones say over time? Then even look back further? Swamp? Indians?
Hey John , welcome to the group , we never really thought about the game , sorry ! hopefully next event you will make it .
John, hi there - I think you'd e-mailed the other day regarding carpooling, but I can't seem to locate the e-mail! If you are driving from the Dupont area, I can easily meet to drive out to the hike. Please just let me know what time and where to meet you. I believe you asked about the round table - I am a new member, and new to the study of the civil war; just very interested in learning more. So I'm not terribly knowledgeable, but can do some googling...) Best, Elisabeth
