Leisurely walk in UBC Botanical Garden - entrance fee applies

I'm sorry this is so far west, but we've been all the way east, why not all the way west? I can use some photos of whatever will be featured at UBC Botanical Garden in August, and I should know what all this will be by the time of the walk. There is a shady side of the garden, and a sunny warm side (or maybe it would be an exposed wet side). There is an entrance fee of $9, or $7 for seniors. Dogs are not allowed in the garden.

There is free parking at the garden, and buses do come very close. Maybe those with cars can give people rides to convenient transit locations after the walk.

The walk will happen rain or shine. Gather at 1:45, depart at 2pm or as soon as everyone who has rsvp'd has arrived. If you rsvp and then decide not to come, please change your rsvp so we don't have to wait for you.

I did two postings with other photos on the UBC Botanical Garden forums, in the subforum called Talk About UBC Botanical Garden. http://www.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/forums/forumdisplay.php?f=125

I found it fun to have the company of two people who were keen to see the garden, and there was lots to see. Thanks for coming along, Isabel and Nicky.

Sorry I didn't get there yesterday. I sure tried, but there was a problem with my navigating... have to work on that one.

Louise, it should be no problem getting to an early evening concert, but it's up to you. I can't go to the SummerChor concert, but should be good. I sang with them for two years, but it was years ago.
