There are a number of times and locations listed in this announcement. Read carefully so that you understand when you have to be where.

We will meet at the St Louis Bread Company Resturant in the Sunset Hill Shopping Center.  This is located at the east end of the shopping center (along S. Kirkwood/Lindbergh) (10740 Sunset Hills Plz, Sappington, MO). We will LEAVE from there at 7:45 AM. If you get there at 7:45, you will see our tail lights. We will be loading the cars at 7:35 AM.  If you plan on getting something to eat, arrive early.

If you are planning on driving, make sure that you have a full tank of gas when you get to the Bread Company. Also make sure that you allow time to go to the bathroom. The trip is about 1 ½ hours and we will not stop. If you ride with someone it would be nice to give them a couple of bucks for gas. If you want to drive down the day before the float let me know.

When you sign up, please put a statement in the comment indicating one of the following:
1. I will be driving down with the group
2. I will drive down by myself
3. Let me know if you either have a partner or need one.

Everyone should be at the Blue Springs Ranch store no later than 9:30 AM.

We will be doing a 5 mile float.  Float Trips Start Up-Stream. You Float Back To Blue Springs. Please check in at least 30 minutes prior to scheduled departure.  We will be doing the 10AM float.

Since Sundays are usually a slower day we will not make reservations.  Canoes are $45, $7.00 additional charge for a third person in a canoe, plus a $1.50/person fuel surcharge.

Single Kayaks are $30

All Float Trip Reservations require a 100% deposit and 7 day cancellation notice for refund less a $10 change or cancellation fee. No rainy day or flood refunds. Rain checks only.

During the float we will try to stay together for safety. I hope someone will volunteer to be Tail-end-Charlie. They can help those having trouble and I can tell when everyone has completed the float.

Bring food for lunch and drinks (NO GLASS CONTAINERS). Also, you should bring Sun screen, hats, towels, and a change of clothes for the drive home. On the way home we usually stop at the Cracker Barrel in Sullivan, MO.

Liability Waiver: Any and all responsible persons will be required to sign a waiver acknowledging the risks and responsibilities in participating in a river trip in a natural setting.
