The Yoga and Wellness Retreat at Camp de Benneville Pines is a weekend retreat in nearby Angelus Oaks, with about 90 participants each year from all over the area and beyond. Lisa Harris is the "Dean" or "host" for the weekend. The theme for this year's weekend is: "Yoga - Practices for Optimal Wellness".
Yoga has been used for centuries as a way of healing body imbalances both physically and mentally. If you’ve never stepped onto a yoga mat, if it has been a while since you've taken a yoga class, or if you are looking to enhance your ongoing practice, this weekend will inspire you to make feeling vital a priority. Explore specific teachings of yoga and practices that provide methods to help you achieve optimal wellness. Refresh your body and renew your spirit. Meditate, do yoga, make art, move, chant, and sing joyfully, enjoy nature, and attend a variety of other wellness workshops.
Camp will take place from Friday, September 5th thru Sunday, September, 9th. Please look ahead and see if you will be available as this event requires prior registration with the camp and it does sell out.

You can register any time up until the event as long as there is space (last year it sold out by August!) But early bird registration ends June 30th and will save you a few bucks off of the already incredible price! Please do not RSVP Yes on this site unless you register with the camp first.
Camp De Benneville Pines is a lovely rustic camp located in the mountains just 40 minutes from Redlands. The camp is used just about every weekend throughout the year to host various groups and interests and has a wonderfully friendly staff.
"Campers" stay "under the pines" in a variety of cabins with numerous rooms and shared bathrooms inside. Meals, workshops, yoga classes and other events are held in the main lodge or other meeting areas. Wonderful meals are served cafeteria style in the Lodge beginning with dinner on Friday evening, and ending with lunch on Sunday.
You don't have to be experienced in Yoga to attend this camp. Even though it's called the "Yoga and Wellness Weekend", many attendees have never tried yoga before. A variety of levels of yoga classes are offered - from very beginner to intermediate. There will be hikes, workshops on various health and wellness topics, archery, swimming, jacuzzi time, boating, dance, arts and crafts, massage, meditation workshops, and of course - all levels of yoga classes available throughout the weekend. Everything is included in the low price of $170 ($185 after June 30th) Personal bodywork sessions are extra. These sessions are available for a very reasonable fee on a first come first served sign-up basis.
When you sign up, you will have the option of arriving at camp early for an extra night for a small fee. This will allow you to hike on your own on Thursday/Friday before camp starts. You will be responsible for your own meals up until Friday evening's first camp dinner service.
Bring a friend or loved one and room together, use our site to find a potential roomie, or the camp will assign you a "new friend" as a room mate. If you're a "single", the registrar will place you with a nice roomate/s. Please use the links below to check out the camp and sign up.
