Well, I was there and walked 8 miles, it was a great walk. I'm surprised we never crossed paths, maybe next time.

Thank you, Bobbi for organizing today's walk. I will be able to walk there after work on a regular basis! I hope everyone saw the huge eagle perched on the pilings.

If you mean Everett Station downtown, then the trail is a good 5 miles or so north.

If you're at the Everett Train Station, go to Broadway and head north (turn right). Take Broadway all the way down, across the bridge toward Marysville, and after crossing the bridge, turn right at the first street. Then turn right and the next street. Go left at the Stop sign. Pass the shipyard. Right at the fork. You'll see Everett animal shelter on your left, and a parking lot on your right.

I'll probably be there if it's not raining too heavily.

I am walking in the MS Walk on Sunday in Seattle so I don't think I should push my luck with two days in a row of walking in the wind, rain and cold. Take good care everyone and I will catch you next time. ~Michele

Takes about an hour to do a 5k normally so if you can walk that long, you'll be fine.

Jeanne, just take Broadway north through Everett to the "flats" that goes to Marysville (old 99). Exit to the right just after the bridges, then right again and follow the signs to the Everett Animal Shelter. The difficult part is going back, many folks take a wrong turn and end up in Marysville.

I've missed this walk since it was closed last year! Sorry to have knee problems; physical therapist has banned me from walks for a while!

Oops, I went with my husband last week, messed up the date. No wonder we didn't see groups with maps. Beautiful walk along the river, saw a river otter and lots of ducks.

I'm new to Volkssport walks, but I've done this walk many times. It's one of my favorites! I'm looking forward to it!
