    Are there any hills?

    July 24, 2013

    • Sharon M

Yes. On the 5K there is a slope going down and eventually back up. The 11K does have more significant hills abut only a rating of 2B. The 5K trail is mostly paved old road (heavily shaded) and the 11K goes through some neighborhoods as it goes toward Newcastle and return. Hope this helps. There is a person leading the 5K walk if you want to walk with a group. It will be medium walkers to enjoy the creeks and woods.
