Lets do another Monday morning walk together at a moderate pace. Meet in the lobby of the hotel to sign in so that we can start walking by 10:00am. This lovely walk along Lake Washington follows a generally north/south direction and is has been modified for 2013. Outdoor sculptures are located along the route and the waterfront is lined with flowers in well landscaped condominiums and parks, views of the Olympic Mountains and Seattle skyline. The downtown area is a charming mix of galleries , shops and eateries.

Side paths to the water's edge help get walkers away from the busy Lake Washington Blvd. Rated 1 (out of 5) for difficulty. Note: This walk was voted the 7th Best National Year Round Walk in 2001 :-)

Anyone can walk for free but all must sign a waiver. Those walking for credit should bring $3.00. Interlaken Trailblazers can get credit for only $2.00. Restrooms are available at the start/finish, Carillon Point, and various parks. We will stop half way. Trail is not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs due to stairs. Leashed pets allowed with clean up.

Directions: From I-5 N or S, exit 168B to SR 520 E to Bellevue. Exit 520 at Lake Washington Blvd N (Rt. 908) to Kirkland. Right at light to Northup Way. Left at La Quinta Inn (approx. one block). From I-405 N or S, exit to SR 520 W to Seattle. Exit 520 immediately. Right at bottom of exit onto 108 Ave. NE. Left at next light onto Northup Way. Right at La Quinta Inn (approx. two blocks) on right. Metro Bus routes: 230, 235, 251, 254, 255, 258, 262, or 275.

Hope to see you there.

Is there a walk box for this? I'd like to do this route, but can't make it this morning.

Great Monday morning foggy walk, which leads me to muse, it is much better to walk in the fog, than to be in a fog :-) Thank you Bob for planning our walk.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
