Lets do another Monday walk while the weather looks good.
Event Info: This is a great, mostly flat walk on sidewalks around Bothell shops and eateries, into and passing 3 parks, through the country on paved Sammamish River Trail, Burke-Gilman Trail, UW-Cascadia campus, and North Creek Trail. We will do the 10K distance (rated 1A) at a moderate pace and it should take about 2 hours.
Points of Interest: Some parts of the walk cover the historical Town-Gown Bothell walk with fun markers of interest.
Start Point: The walk box is located at the customer service counter. Meet inside by the coffee tables.
Awards & Fees:
All must register before walk. IVV Volkssport Credit Only $3, $2 Interlaken Members or walk for free. Donations for Meet-Up charges and walk box information are welcome.
Directions: From Bellevue North on I-405, Exit #23 (Bothell/SR522), exit SR522 west to Bothell. Drive to SR527 (Bothell Way). Turn Right to NE 188th St. LEFT on NE 188th then RIGHT into QFC parking lot. I-405 southbound: Exit #23B. Continue as above.
