Hike along the Mississippi River

Meeting location is in front of the restaurant. Stay and enjoy Happy Hour after the walk at the Longfellow Grill, starting at 3pm.

Moderately strenuous due to descending the bank down to the river, and back up again to the parkway.  This walk requires climbing a lot of stairs, and may also involve some slopes and uneven ground.  Typically we might go down and up at least four times along the way.  We will walk for 90 minutes or longer.

Keep my number with you that day, just in case... [masked]  Call or text me if your plans change at the last minute and you can't make it.  I do keep track of who has RSVP'd that they will be attending, so don't forget to change your RSVP if you decide not to come.  Thanks!

Only YES rsvp's are required.  No need to rsvp NO unless you're changing your previous YES response. Thanks

Sorry you couldn't come this time Barb. It was a really great group and Happy Hour was nice afterward. Hope you can make it next month.

Adventure! Good group of people. We hiked along the east bank for a couple miles, following a tiny trail clinging to the slope. On the west side we gave ourselves a break and hike along the road. We were intrepid! I had a lovely time :)

Hi all, Know it's a bit late, but my sweetie just agreed to come - is it ok to bring him even though the RSVP is closed?

Would take me an hour just to walk there, to walk more. Lol, but I would love to come to a closer one!

Is there a plan for walks occurring weekday evenings in the summer, Saturdays after 4 pm or on Sundays? Those are the only times I am available to join a walk.

Just wondering if it's okay to bring a well behaved dog. Is there a typical duration or do you just play it by ear. Thanks!

It's not a good idea, since you never know who might be allergic to animals, or afraid of dogs. Also, you wouldn't be able to attend Happy Hour afterward, which is a lot of fun.

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
