Afternoon Hike around Hyland Lake

  • Nov 29, 2012 · 1:00 PM
  • This location is shown only to members

  • Join us for an afternoon hike at Hyland Park Reserve.  Hyland Park has well-designed hiking trails and lots of nature to take in.  We will walk about 1-1.5 hours, moderate pace, unless part of the group wants to take the lead at a faster pace.
  • Meet at the Visitor Center
  • Keep my cell phone number with you in case you need to reach me that day.  Call for any last-minute changes/cancellations.  [masked]

We will only be able to hike this trail until the snow falls.  After that the trail is for cross-country skiing only.

First we did a 2 mile loop around the lake, then a 1 mile side loop and back around the lake again in the opposite direction. What a good day to get out and be in nature!!

Don't let the cold weather keep you inside...come out for some fresh air, exercise, and of course great company!
