Please let me know Days & Times that work out BEST for you to walk the Dakota Trail.... (Out here in the Mound/Navarre/Orono area:
PLEASE "VOTE" on the following:
WEEK DAYS (Like 9a - 5p), M-F: Yes or No?? TIME you like best??
WEEK NIGHTS (Like 5p - 8p), M-F: Yes or No?? TIME you like best??
WEEKENDS, SAT/SUN: Yes or No?? TIME you like best?? SAT or SUN?? BEFORE 12n?? Mid-Afternoon?? Evening??
As for WKNDS / SAT & SUN, for ME.... Most SAT's or SUN's are OK with me.... SAT: Maybe a late morning time, around about 10a..... OR sometime in the early afternoon (12n - 3p); OR late afternoon (3p - 6p) OR are you a SAT Evening person??
SUN: Time would HAVE to be AFTER about 1p, at the EARLIEST. I am in church until 12n - 12:30p usually. Maybe a Mid-Afternoon time on SUN could be something like 2p - 4 or 5p??
I am Unemployed right now, so I usually do have a LOT of time to do Walks with people. I just have M & TH when I have some Volunteer time at the G.V. Animal Humane Society & a couple other errands I do those days .....which leaves M & TH out for ME... I can be "Hostess" (Organizer) for any Daota Trail Walk on TUES, WEDS, or FRI, for Week DAY or EVE; & also on SAT or SUN, which are OK too. Just takes a little more planning....have to make sure me & my hubby don't have something ELSE going on, etc.
Let me know what your VOTE is, & I will work hard to accommodate everyone's request, based upon Group Vote.
Join us to meet local people who like to walk. Walking is so much more fun with other people, isn't it? We'll be walking different trails and parks around and outside the St. Paul/Minneapolis area.
People ask about bringing their dogs; since there are lots of factors involved, please leave your dog (or any other pet, for that matter) at home. This Meetup is about walking and talking with (adult) people.
Keep in mind these generally are not hikes but just walks. If there are enough people to do so, we'll split into a brisk and a leisurely group.
Use the "Suggestion" tab for proposing a specific walk to host on your own if there's not already one near you. With 1500+ people, there may be others nearby who would like to join you.
NOTE: To avoid favoritism, we do not do any charity walks, and any such events will immediately be removed.
