Re: [walkers-575] Moir Park in Bloomington

Brian, and everyone on the list,
I'm hosting a sunset walk at Richardson Nature Center on July 30th at 7:30 pm  so I won't be able to make Moir Park.  Nature Spirituality Meetup is the sponsor, I'm the event host and I'd love to see some crossover between the groups.  It will be a bit slower pace, some people will be bringing cameras to photograph stuff so there will be some starting and stopping.

Richardson is located on East Bush Road in Bloomington, just south of Highwood Drive. We're going to meet at the Nature Center and then go to a small pond where you can traditionally see the sunset and then walk over to the larger pond and see the sunset again.  Pretty cool place.

I do like Suzanne's idea and would love to do it another day.  I've never been there so I wouldn't be the best person to lead the way.

BTW, Brian, I had a great time on the Minnehaha walk.  The longest walk I've taken in a long time, but a lot of fun.

Subject: [walkers-575] Moir Park in Bloomington

Hi everyone,

Suzanne posted an idea to walk Moir Park in Bloomington, which is very much appreciated, and a lot of people are interested. I was just wondering what day we should have this walk.

I'm wondering if this Friday, July 30th, would be a good day? Let me know. Or maybe another day is better.

Also, would anyone be willing to co-host this walk? I'm not very familiar with Moir Park, and I know I'd get us lost with 9 miles of trails. Just ask those of us who walked Minnehaha Falls Park last night. A one-hour walk turned into a two-hour hike. The bridge I was looking for wasn't supposed to be a bridge along a highway. Thanks.
