We had planned to walk along the Mississippi closer to the Stone Arch Bridges in Minneapolis, but I guess there is something going on there this Friday. So I thought we'd stay on the Mississippi and head south, just like Huck Finn did, and walk around the Hidden Falls Crosby Park area.
THIS PLACE IS TRICKY TO FIND, as the name suggests!!! Look at the details part of the walk to get the links for directions. BUT, and I say but...turn on Hidden Falls Dr. to find the picnic shelter where we will meet.
We'll start later to ensure people have enough time to find the place.
Rita will be hosting, and her cell number is[masked] if you just can't find it. I have a family commitment that I have to endure.

FYI: This is on the St. Paul side of the Mississippi River, South of Ford Pkwy and North of MN5.
Join us to meet local people who like to walk. Walking is so much more fun with other people, isn't it? We'll be walking different trails and parks around and outside the St. Paul/Minneapolis area. People ask about bringing their dogs; since there are lots of factors involved, please leave your dog (or any other pet, for that matter) at home. This Meetup is about walking and talking with people. Keep in mind these are not hikes but just walks. If there are enough people to do so, we'll split into a brisk and a leisurely group. Use the "Suggestion" tab for proposing a specific walk to host on your own if there's not already one near you. With 1000+ people, there may be others nearby who would like to join you.
