HENRY HUDSON TRAIL

Good news! The Henry Hudson trail is open once again.  Let's hurry up and walk it this Sunday December 29 before another storm tears it up again! It will be an approximate 4 mile walk round trip and it is a bit muddy in places so boots are highly recommended.

We will meet at 9am at the commuter parking lot at the end of First Ave. in Atlantic Highlands. We'll walk east along Sandy Hook Bay until we get to the Highlands where we'll take a short break before heading back.  There will be bathrooms at our turnaround point.

If we are lucky, and we ask nicely, maybe Daryl will show us a secret garden along the way!

When we get back to the parking lot, we can head on over to Sissy's for breakfast.

We will Walk in a Lite Rain or Sun Shine

Only Heavy Rain or a Blizard Will Cancel....Those signed up will be notified by E-mail of any Cancellations and it will also be posted on this page. If you have any doubts... Check your E-mails....

See you all at 9:00am. Sharp.... Thanks Guys ;-)

PS,,, As a Reminder,,, Pets Are Not Welcome,,,, Thank You for understanding,,,,

I just checked three weather sites: NWS, Weather Channel and Accuweather. Just light rain before 11AM. I plan to bring a parka that sheds rain - and I plan to park as close to Sissy's as possible - and I plan to bring an umbrella into Sissy's after the walk. Does anyone know all the lyrics to "Singing in the Rain"?

Please Do Not Park In Sissy's Parking Lot,,,, Use the Gigantic Commuter Lot,,, It's everywhere,,,, Thanks ;~)

I am so happy this trail is finally "open" again. Thanks so much for listing this - one of my favorites. I've walked it a number of times since Sandy and had to be discrete. Now I won't have to feel like a trespasser any more. Hope a lot of you make it. . . . And I wonder if the secret garden has anything to do with good old H.H. ;)

I was surprised to find it open yesterday. A couple weeks ago, it didn't look very promising. It's a bit mucky in places, but do-able!

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
