Lafayette Reservoir Walk in Lafayette

I won't be around for this walk but there are always plenty of regulars from the group that will attend. I'll see if there's someone who wants to volunteer to be the Organizer for this one (not that you really need one).

The Walk
Lafayette Reservoir is a little hilly but it has a beautiful view of the water most of the way around.  It's about 3 miles and should take less than an hour. The trail is paved and there are plenty of restrooms.

Parking fees may have increased due to the new construction. Parking is at the meters (cost about $1.50 in quarters) or in the parking lot ($6.00 for all day).  There is street parking but you have a bit of a hike up the hill to get to the meeting spot.

There are restrooms next to the parking lot and some port-a-potties along the way.

After the Walk
We usually go to Peet's Coffee at 3518 Mount Diablo Blvd. in Lafayette and meet in the courtyard behind it where there are tables. There are several other choices in that shopping center besides coffee.

I decided to ride into Walnut Creek for a few errands, but it was really nice to meet everyone. See you next time!

At the top of the hill, turn left. Find parking spot. We meet at the guard shack half way down that row of parking spaces. The early bird gets the space. C U there!

Could someone pick me up from the nearest bart station? I don't own a car, and live in N. Oakland, near Rockridge/MarArthur bart.

I decided to start Reno Motorcycle Riders Group because I wanted to be part of a group of people who enjoyed my passion... I was excited and nervous. Our group has grown by leaps and bounds. I never thought it would be this big.

Henry, started Reno Motorcycle Riders
