Benicia Waterfront Walk

We'll walk from our meeting point at the corner of Second Street and East E Street around the Benicia Marina, then out to the fishing pier at the end of First Street, then out along streets close to the waterfront to the Ninth Street Park, then back along the same route.

We can stop for coffee afterwards at The Rellik Tavern on 1st Street. They make a great cup of coffee and they have comfy couches.

Bathrooms are available at the Ninth Street Park and at the coffee shop.

Parking is free.

The route has some hills and is mostly paved. A good portion of the walk will be on city streets or sidewalks.

It should take about 1 1/2 hours and the distance is about 4 1/2 to 5 miles.

PLEASE NOTE: Anyone who walks on a regular basis at a brisk pace should not have any difficulty.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
