Announcing a new Meetup for East Bay Walkers!

What: Martin Luther King Shoreline

When: Saturday, September 4,[masked]:30 AM

Where: Martin Luther King Shorline
66th Avenue and Oakport Street
Oakland, CA 94621

This is a very comfortable walk with no hills whatsoever. It's mostly paved walkways, and it's a bird sanctuary. We can meet at a local Starbucks off 880 for coffee after we walk.

LOCATION: 66th Avenue Exit of Route 880 in Oakland. Off the ramp, turn on 66th Avenue toward the water instead of toward the Oakland Coliseum. Make a left on Oakport Street and the parking lot is on your right.

PARKING: If there are no spots left when you get there, find someone in the group (probably standing by the little bridge) and we'll work out something to get you parked just down the street in one of the office buildings.

WALKING CONDITIONS: All flat and mostly paved.

WALKING LENGTH: Between 3 and 4 miles, so it should take us a little over an hour.

CONTACT: Mike Barker, Cell Phone[masked]
