The shopping center with access to the IHT is Alamo Plaza, located at Stone Valley Rd & Danville Blvd. Ample parking, Starbucks and several restaurants.

Thanks Ann.

Here is another way to get to the Rudgear Rd Park N Drive Stagging area for Iron Horse South.

From Oakland, go through the Caldecott tunnel, taking 24 East to 680 South. Exit at the 1st exit, which says Main St but it also says on a small sign(easily missed) Rudgear Rd. Exit here and go straight(South). Go about three blocks parallel to the 680 freeway. You will be on Rudgear, but there many not be a sign. The "Park n Drive" lot under the freeway a block away on Rudgear Road with more parking available if needed.

It is 2.5 miles from Rudgear Rd. stagging area to Stone Valley Rd staging area near Alamo Plaza.

Iron Horse Trail, between the cities of Concord and Dublin, follows the Southern Pacific Railroad right-of-way established in 1891 and abandoned in 1977.
