A walking moai is a group of people coming together for a common purpose. Teams spend time together and build friendships while tracking their steps as they compete for prizes. In the past year, nearly 140 local Walking Moai groups brought together more than 1,750 people turning strangers into friends. Walking Moai groups usually walk once or twice a week and times and locations vary throughout the Beach Cities community. Please start your own group or a join a group here.
This initiative is brought to you by Blue Zones Project, a program of Beach Cities Health District. Visit us and take the Personal Pledge at www.bchd.org/bzp.
