Re: Meetup Cancelled: Oct. Meeting

It was not my intention to be rude. I apologized for the late notice in my e-mail explaining that I can not gain access to meetup at work.

There is a $1 fee in order to help with the cost of the meetup group. Let me make it clear that I do not expect money for any meetups that have been cancelled. That would be ridiculous.

I look forward to hearing your recording if you decide to attend the next meeting.

I for one consider it very rude to cancel a meeting after I have left to attend it.  The weather for tonight is 51 degrees now and might be 40 degrees later. Light to mild rain with winds only 10 to 25 miles per hour.  I hold there was no reason to cancel the meeting by email sent at 5:33 PM.  Both of us who arrived had absolutely no problem getting there at all.  So I see no reason to cancel it because of weather..    If it was a large possibility of tornadoes or a heavy snowstorm, then both of us would not be angry at you.  So your apology is a little late.
I will be at the November 5Th meeting to play a recording of some of my music and bring some examples-one has been published.
I may not have the latest and greatest recording equipment in the world, but it works for me.
So there are two people who are angry with you personally, one of whom might not come to the meet-up again.
So we held a mini meeting anyway and then left.  So don't expect to receive $2.00 for the October 22nd meeting.
Borders said that no one made any pre-arrangements with Borders for a meeting, we are just one of those groups that shows up in
their coffee shop area.   So why is there even a $1.00 charge?
With no reservations,
