Go Girl Live! Presents: "Stories from the Hearth"

Go Girl Live! is an after-work networking event for adventurous, independent, global women to gather and meet one another in a fun and relaxed atmosphere while supporting a local non-profit. This October, cozy up to "Stories from the Hearth", a fireside evening of women’s storytelling from Chicago organization Global Girls, Inc., which uses the performing arts to give voice to the issues and concerns of girls between ages 8-18.

-One free Go Girl specialty [hot!] cocktail and a crackling fire in The Grafton’s enormous hearth
-A gift bag of treats provided by local women-owned and women-focused businesses
-A free storytelling performance put on by Global Girls, Inc.
-Casual mingling for women who want to make a difference in the world around them, including special guests representing fields related to storytelling, literature and performing arts

What's on the Agenda:

6:00pm: Check in, enjoy a free Go Girl cocktail, and mingle with powerful, independent and globally engaged women that are making a difference in the world. If you come early, nab a seat on a big couch and cozy up to the fireplace with a free [hot!] drink donated by The Grafton Pub.

6:30pm: Program begins; introduction of special guests representing various sectors of women’s literature, storytelling and performing arts.

6:45pm: "Stories from the Hearth”, a night of performances by Global Girls, Inc.

7:30pm: Music and open networking. Buy a copy of Go Girl's newest book,Stories of Woe and Whoa: Two Years of Go Girl, check out how you can support Global Girls, Inc, and peruse the offerings of other women-run and women-focused businesses in the Chicago area, including Mary Kay and Silpada Designs.
