Great as always, would be nice if I could be on the winning side in the games I've played

Love to get in your game, BUT wife's birthday is SAT... I'll be there Friday (Running Luke's Revenge on Friday 8pm) and maybe go back on Sunday! Sorry to miss the Turkeys... :(

Event ID E074: Turkey Trots to Water Redux - October 25, 1944
The action off Samar turned the Battle of Leyte Gulf into a complete Japanese defeat. It opened when due to a chance break in cloud cover and the random arrangement of two rain squalls simultaneously gave an American Avenger anti-submarine patrol pilot a glimpse of the IJN Yamato directly below, and the Yamato's tower mast a glimpse of the escort carriers of Taffy-Three (TG[masked]) turning off launch course just in gun range to the south east. Shift a few clouds around, and instead first contact isn't until the late morning as a Catalina patrol and empty ground attack aircraft notice an unknown surface action group approaching the landing area. Oldendorf's tired line and anything not busy clearing Surigao Strait prepare for their second surface action of the day... Hosted by Darrell Hartsig; 1/6000 General Quarters III; 12 players.
