How to Practice Mindfulness

You've probably heard the benefits of mindfulness and how it can improve our focus and lead to greater happiness, but what actually is mindfulness? Tonight we're going to go over the basics of the practice of mindfulness and how we can start integrating it into our daily life right now!

This is the first class in our new series, "Mindfulness for Busy People." Learn mindfulness techniques to make every moment of your day meaningful. Applying these methods in your everyday life will lead to happiness and a sense of purpose and harmony in your daily experiences and relationships.

Hi Fran. We can ALL use help improving our meditation practice! That's why we do one long guided meditation at the beginning of class and a shorter one towards the end in which we contemplate an aspect of the teaching and then we get to discuss it with our classmates. Then we follow up with a Q and A.. We often get great feedback and helpful tips to deepen our daily meditation practice.
Hope to see you there :)

We had a great class! We're all going to practice our breathing meditation and visit our dharma books so we can be mindful of the teachings throughout our busy days.

I'm a tai chi player and I've done some standing meditation. However I seemed thinking more about how long I could stand still than actually meditating. I know that it will be very good for me to improve my practice.

Looking forward to giving some suggestions on how to settle our turbulent minds through meditation and contemplation! I've been putting them into action all weekend :)

It's so nice to learn how to work our meditation practice into our busy lives instead of waiting for our lives to be less busy so we can start our meditation practice!
