***I had to move this to AUGUST due to a family thing, sorry!***
So it's time for our favorite annual MOONLIGHT HIKE! We will be hiking (more like walking) around Silver Lake Interpretative Trail. This hike is designed for EVERYONE (kids included)... except your furry four legged animals. Seriously... It's a watershed area. Don't bring animals . Thanks! :)
Distance: 1 mile
Elevation gain: 20 feet (Pretty level walking)
When: WE WILL LEAVE the parking lot at the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon AT 8:20PM SHARP.
Please join us for a fun evening of socializing and getting to know all of the awesome people in our group. Depending how late it is and how everyone is feeling, we may even do the loop twice! But, you don't have to! :)
Nautical Twilight: 9:29pm
We will meet at the carpool lot at the parking lot at the mouth of Big Cottonwood Canyon and carpool up to the parking area. Please bring a couple bucks to help out with gas in case you end up riding in another person's car.
- BRING WARM CLOTHES... it will might get a little chilly!
- Mosquito Repellent with DEET (Just in case)
- Flashlight (Please try to bring RED LED lights! We will try NOT to use them. But, there may be some spots where the moon might hide from us.)
- Water (always a good idea to bring it!)
