This is an amazing movie full of history and adventure! Although these two characters do find interest in each other, this is not some sappy love story. Nicole Kidman and Hugh Jackman give a realistic portrayal of the challenges faced in this rugged land during WWII. A movie not to be missed! Join us this Sunday afternoon to watch this great movie at the Regal Cinema in Downtown Bethesda, which is walking distance from the Bethesda metro stop on the red line. There is also a possibility of walking around downtown Bethesda to grab a bite to eat after the show. I am leaving it up to each person to purchase their own ticket. You are welcome to book online at:
https://www.fandango.... or you can wait to buy your ticket there. Ticket prices are $8. Movie Synopsis:
AUSTRALIA An English aristocrat inherits an Australian ranch the size of Maryland. When English cattle barons plot to take her land, she reluctantly joins forces with a rough-hewn cattle driver to drive 2,000-head of cattle across hundreds of miles of the country's most unforgiving land, only to still face the bombing of Darwin by the Japanese forces that had attacked Pearl Harbor only months earlier. Cast: Nicole Kidman, Hugh Jackman, David Wenham, Bryan Brown, Jack Thompson Director: Baz Luhrmann Genres: War Adventure, Adventure
