Mostly sit on top kayaking provided by the tour companies. I recently took a surf kayak lesson...loved it.... and I recently took a level 1 whitewater kayak lesson. I enjoyed that too, but whitewater kayaking is not really what I'm looking to do. Do I need to know things like T-resues and how to roll? (cause currently I can't do those things). But I do know how to make a wet exit. I'm willing to learn the other skills for safety, but wondering if I can get started with your club without those skills.
N/A - But looking to purchase. I noticed in the photos members are not using the sit on top of kayaks, but the kayaks appear longer than the kayak I used in a recent whitewater lesson I took. Please tell me the type of kayak I need to best participate in your trips.
Hello! I am a beginner kayaker who signs up for kayak tours whenever I can. I would like to move beyond that and this meet up group appears to be just what I need!! Question - what is the best type of kayak to purchase for your recreational trips?
Members were very friendly, enjoyed the chats along the paddle.
