WAMEDA is celebrating the National Cherry Blossom Festival of 2009 with a scrumptious lunch buffet aboard the beautiful Spirit of Washington entertainment cruise ship. We are boarding at 11:30 at the SW Waterfront Dock, Cruise starts 12 noon. This is our tribute to the splendor that can be enjoyed on the Potomac River, as we sail past the gorgeous Cherry Blossom trees, fully in bloom, accenting the international treasure of our Nation's Capital. This is the highlight of any tourist's dream and just one day after the Annual Cherry Blossom Parade and the major day of festivities all over the city. Stay in the city after the cruise and continue to celebrate this gift to our country. Share the symbolism as the multicultural connections with Japan and the United States, truly celebrating the flowering fruits of this broad-stroke joint appreciation of nature.

YAY! We sold out all of our tickets for this fantastic afternoon in Washington, DC aboard the Spirit of Washington for the WAMEDA Belly Cruise!!! The weather's gonna be great and we can't wait. Cherry Blossoms here we come...

  “ God shined His face on us & gave us a beautiful day. There was good food, good people, & good fun. We danced so much--the other people on the ship joined us & the staff even came out to watch us--WE ROCKED THE BOAT--even after it docked.
