10th Annual Blues, Brews and BBQ Festival - Snowshoe, WV

  • August 9, 2013 · 1:00 PM

Hey all... any lovers of Blues music, good brew, and BBQ?  I thought I'd get this on the WASRA calendar in case anyone might like to be sure to get in on their calender.  Not much information at this point other than the date... I would like to get some folks together to share in the cost of lodging so we can save a bunch.  Right now, rough costs for some larger units are like:

Three Bedroom Economy -$226.00
Three Bedroom Standard - $269.00
Three Bedroom Deluxe - $308.00
Four Bedroom Deluxe - $394.00

So cost per bedroom could be pretty cheap right there in the village.  If weather is good, we ride, if not we drive.  Looks like it runs Friday eve and Saturday, so thinking of heading out mid-day Friday and return Sunday.  At this point, let me know you are even only just interested, with no obligation, so I can get a feel for level of interest and start planning something for lodging.  The sooner we can tie it down, the better price we are likely to get.  Soon as I get 2 other folks committed I will make a reservation.  So do let me know so we can all get into the same unit.

Barbara and I might be interested. The Old Clark Inn in Marlinton is a great lodging option, though further away.

I started the group because there wasn't any other type of group like this. I've met some great folks in the group who have become close friends and have also met some amazing business owners.
