Mamas of Waterford Lakes & East Orlando! Get ready to make a bunch of new friends & to create some great memories! This group is for stay at home moms with children ages infant to 5. We offer a full calendar of fun get togethers - parks, home playdates, splashpads, story times, library events, arts & crafts. We offer meetups every day Monday - Friday. We believe in no-cost playdates, but we will sometimes offer a low cost activity.
A few straightforward guidelines we follow:
Please include a clear picture of yourself on your profile (with or without your little one). Many activities are in public places where we are meeting other moms for the first time, so we need to know faces to look for. For new members, please review the RSVP roster the morning of the activity, look for these faces to introduce yourself.
Please take a moment to update your RSVP if your schedule changes. Moms are eager to connect with other moms - that’s the purpose of this group. It’s disappointing to be sitting alone at a meetup when you’re expecting other moms to be there. If a member routinely ‘no shows’ 3 or more times, she will be removed from the group.
Moms are expected to attend at least one activity a month & to pay $12 annual dues. For the security of our moms & kids and to keep our calendar private to active moms only, we review our member roster each month & remove moms who aren’t active (attend at least one activity a month & pay $12 annual dues).
New members are encouraged to attend at least one activity within 30 days of joining & assuming she wants to continue on with us, pay the $12 annual dues. Dues can be paid via paypal to the group organizer or by cash or check in person at a Meetup!
**We have a membership cap of about 75 members so we have the chance to get to know the moms and kiddos in a smaller group setting. If we are at that cap when you wish to join us send us a membership request anyway! When we have an opening we will happily add you to the group!**
