Waterloo-Wellington Webmakers 1.8 (Guelph)

Our second Waterloo-Wellington Webmaker meeting since merging KWDM and GWMM.

We're back in Guelph! Come out to McCabe's for some food, drinks, networking and talk of all things web! We will continue to be alternating between Guelph and K-W, and meetings will always be on the 2nd Wednesday of the month.

We have some great talks scheduled!

Chris Charles - JavaScript woes? Tern that frown upside down!
Do you edit JavaScript using a text editor like Sublime Text, Vim or Emacs? Ever get jealous of the features enjoyed by those WebStorm / Visual Studio / Eclipse folks? Find out how Tern can make your text editor smarter.

Brent Lintner - Web Components in the Real World
Web components, and the technologies and web standards that comprise it, are an important tool for creating modularized, encapsulated HTML/CSS and JavaScript. I'll be going into various frameworks/libraries for doing so, with a focus on Web Component Polyfill frameworks.

Make sure to RSVP - we're looking forward to seeing you! Don't miss out! :)

If anyone going to downtown Kitchener would be willing to take me with them on the way back I would be happy to chip on for gas. If you are interested in helping me out you can text me at[masked], or find me at the meet. Thanks all.

I'm surprised by the level of growth I've seen since becoming an organizer, it's given me more confidence in my abilities.
