Depending on the nature of your start-up, a mobile app can make or break the enterprise. App development can feel like a whole other world and lack of information often poses a barrier to entry for many young companies. In this 2-class series, Michelle Darby will give you the scoop on what goes into developing apps for Apple products, from the technologies involved to optimizing workflow. You'll get set up with Xcode (free download) and learn how to use it through a hands-on example app.
Michelle Darby is Co-Founder and President of Roomzilla, a company whose software is used at the Cambridge Innovation Center. She has an Electrical Engineering degree from the University of Washington, but has been working mostly in software for the past two years within the start-up community in Cambridge. Michelle has development experience with both Android and Apple mobile apps. Outside of engineering, her main passion throughout college and now is rowing/coxing. After college, Michelle has kept in touch with the sport through coaching at her high school.
