Our client, a Global industry leader, seeks a Human Factors Expert to lead the design of new TOUCH PAD technology. The ideal candidate will have Corporate experience leading design of intuitive, customer-facing technology consistent with overall company branding.

Job Responsibilities:
• Work closely with IT and developers to understand business requirements and translate them into detailed design prototypes
• Develop concept models and prototypes to help business stakeholders envision proposed technology solution
• Lead participatory design sessions and contextual evaluations to provide client groups UI expertise and guidance
• Coordinate and administer user testing, usability testing and product evaluations Guide development teams in use of user-centered design principles
• Conceptualize and implement interaction design concepts in online environments
• Make design recommendations based on usability standards, and best practices
• Guide development teams in use of user-centered design principles
• Generate presentation solutions (workflow, information and navigation architecture, layout, taxonomy, templates)
• Translate User Requirements Documents into task models, storyboards and presentation specifications

Job Qualifications:
• Fluent with a range of design blueprinting and UI modeling tools
• Extensive experience with Usability Testing
• Proven ability to interpret and communicate technical information into business language and vice versa
• Experience in web and print design, with specific expertise with web-based applications within Adobe Creative Suite (CS4)
• Fluency with web standards and technologies
• Experience with methodologies such as Iterative development, Agile, etc.
• Creative approach to problem solving, innovation and issue resolution
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate actively and proactively with others in a cross-functional team
• Ability to communicate effectively in writing, verbally and as a presenter
• Self-motivated and self-managed with a high degree of analytical ability and intellectual curiosity
• Human Factors, UI, BFA degree or equivalent experience
