French Broad Section 9 class III

Low water beats no water. Saturday should be a beautiful fall day, to paddle this popular section of river. With no rain forecasted and low levels, this should be a fairly easy day on the river. Still, it is class III and whitewater experience is needed. With the weather getting cooler it is important to be properly dressed. Wetsuits or better, dry top/suit will necessary. The plan is to meet at the take and load everything into one or two cars then drive to the put in. This may change if there is a large turnout. Please post or email me any questions.

Great run just before the cold wind set in; very well worth it and excellent company with two new friends, also! Thanks Chris - & you're right, I always have fun when I get out on the river with you!

Just don't flip over. Don't know any way to "fix" it. Just hope it goes back to shape on its own. Won't be that cool anyway.

Mike's wife is going so it looks like 4 people. Should be a good day. Meeting at the take out in Stackhouse. See everyone tomorrow.
