Hang at the Park + Celebrate New Leadership!

To celebrate new leadership, spring, and just plain to have a good time, we're headed to Meridian Hill Park on Sunday, April 29th from 3:00-6:00pm.

Every Sunday, Meridian Hill Park transforms into a diverse, communal space filled with drummers, dancers, picnickers, yogis, soccer players, jugglers, nappers, readers, and acrobats (among others). The music can be heard from blocks away and the mood is contagious.

For those of you who have been, you know how awesome it is. For those of you who have never been, you're in for a treat! Either way, you want to be there :)

How to find us: ***FOLLOW THE MUSIC AND LOOK FOR THE AQUA UMBRELLA*** We'll have a spot picked out for all of us to gather. You can enter the park from Euclid or Kalorama (if you're coming from Columbia Heights/Adams Morgan), 15th or 16th St NW (if you're coming from U St) or Chapin or Belmont (if you're from Cardozo or 16th Street). If you have any trouble, text Danielle at[masked]-4539.

What to bring: Yourself, friends, snacks to share, blankets, balls, frisbees, yoga mat (free yoga starts at around 4:30 or 5)

Come for a little, come for a lot - it's worth stopping by. Hope you can make it!

We just grab a coffee and speak French. Some people have been coming every week for months... it creates a kind of warmth to the group.
