DC Stop Modern Slavery would like to extend a special recognition to Adrianne Toumayan, a sophomore at American University, as our November Member of the Month for her rock star efforts organizing AU students to take part in the annual Stop Modern Slavery walk. Serving as lead for outreach to AU, Adrianne organized a film screening and panel, galvanized a diverse array of student groups and also supported Walk Team members responsible for outreach at other area schools.
