If you’d like to see your anti-human trafficking news or event promoted in the newsletter, send all information to [address removed] no later than Saturday afternoon.

GET OUT THERE

REMINDER How does tippling champagne, shopping for great bargains on gently used designer clothing and viewing a new photo exhibit sound to you? Did we mention that it’s all focused on raising awareness about modern-day slavery?

TIP TOP Boutique will be hosting a new art exhibit by Kay Chernush, founder of ArtWorks for Freedom on next Thursday evening. Chernush’s original photographs are focused on subjects from the State Department’s Trafficking in Persons Report. TIP TOP Boutique is a recently opened second-hand store in Georgetown entirely staffed by volunteers that sends 100% of revenue to nonprofits working to combat human trafficking.

When: Thursday, Jan. 24, 6:00p.m. – 8:00p.m.

Where:  [masked]st St. NW (In Hamilton Court)

For more event details, contact Deborah at (202)[masked] or Laura at (703)[masked]. For more information on TIP TOP Boutique or to donate items, call: 703- 919- 6828
