Hello Members,

As many of you who came to our recent meetings know, we are planning a big walk event in DC on Saturday, September 26th, 2009.

This will be the largest anti-human trafficking event in DC to date. It will coincide with September "Combating Human Trafficking Month" and will be part of a larger national effort coordinated by an NGO called Stop Child Trafficking Now ( We will join other cities including New York, San Francisco, Los Angeles, Chicago, and Dallas in rallying support, raising awareness, and raising funds for the movement. In addition, this event will bring together the DC community, NGO's, local authorities and the media in raising awareness of and combating modern slavery here in DC.

This is an event for the whole movement! We hope you?ll join us in making it a success.

When: Saturday, September 26th, 2009. Registration opens at 9:00 am. Walk begins at 10:30 am.
