July 4th TEA PARTY

This is a great time and place to Rally for Liberty
We will be visable from the 101, other Tea Parties are being held in the North County, SLO and Santa Maria so we can alert people to attend those as well. We can spread the word about having home tea Parties.
We plan to have a good old fashioned 4th of July Picnic in the Park on Friday when the traffic is lighter and we can enjoy those speechs all the more knowing we are highly visable and have an incredible backdrop for photos and videos. We should get more publicity for the Tea Party movement since we will meet the day before the actual holiday.

I plan to tell the participants at this TEA PARTY to join us at the Rancho Park parking lot on Sat, July 4, 2009 where we can watch the fireworks [providing the pier is not fogged in] and share the information on joining our Meetup and the Campaign for Liberty nationwide.

The one person in our group who was taking flyers about our events to locations around the county left the group. We need someone to post notices in public places and/or distribute flyers at other events. I can provide the material if you can get it out there. Our notices are in the Calander Sections but more is needed. How about Movie Night Pot Luck or Dessert at a quieter venue to network more and plan together. We could also meet to watch Glen Beck once a week if you like.

We need more sharing of the organizational tasks. I plan to past my list of Things to Do here and ask that each attendee ensure that one task is completed on site for each TEA PARTY. I was unable to get a better amp because the store no longer carried a battery operated model. I will search the web and order one in time for the next event on July 17, 2009. We will also set the amp, camera and a podium up so speakers can be recorded and the video shown on public access channel. We must begin to raise money to fund our activities! The booklet, Common Sense Revisited, is excellent. I would like to see the plan presented put into action. If you have not read it, pick up a copy from Amber and do so. Then we can plan to move forward as outlined in the booklet. Out lives depend on the actions we do or do not take each anc every day!
