October Meetup @ Causecast
CAUSECAST is hosting our next developers meetup: Tuesday October 21st @ 8pm. Check them out at http://www.causecast.... - they provide a one stop shop for all things cause, giving nonprofits, leaders, and members opportunities to collaborate, share their experiences, and promote the causes they care about.
There will be three highly-technical 15 minute talks, plus food & beer provided by our kind hosts.
If you have something technology related to talk about, please send in an overview of what your 15 minute talk would be. It must be technical.

Note: the Erlang presentation previously announced will not be taking place this meetup.

Dave LaFlamI thought it was very informative and enjoyed the presentations that were given. Maybe next time we could have someone give a small presentation on the various Javascript Frameworks. Why to use them? Are there specific purposes for each one? Should you combine any of the various javascript frameworks or work specifically with one? Are there any habits you should avoid when using a javascript library, as far as, using it too much, etc... A growing trend that will only keep getting better and worth all the information you can get. Also, I would recommend a little more time for networking, meeting other fellow developers. However, it was a great event, looking forward to the next one.
