Hi there,

I know that everyone has been waiting patiently, so I am pleased to annouce that we will be having our first meetup on May 16th at 5:30 PM in conjunction with the mini-conference: Search Powered Enterprise 2.0

Search Powered Enterprise 2.0 is a free event being sponsored by FAST (an Enterprise Search company). The event starts at 1:00, and ends with a networking reception at 5:00.

You can register for the conference at this website, but do not have to register for the conference in order to attend the meetup.

The New York Enterprise 2.0 Meetup will start approximately at 5:30 PM. We will have our own breakout room during the Networking Reception in the Penthouse of the Hudson Hotel. There will be no cost to attend (free!).

I would like to take time at this meetup to do a round of introductions so that everyone gets to know a little bit about everyone else...

- Enterprise 2.0 at your company?
- Enterprise 2.0 successes?
- Enterprise 2.0 barriers?
- Enterprise 2.0 tools?

We can take the discussion from there...

Please, please, please RSVP if you plan to attend the meetup so that I know how many people to expect.

Hope that you can make it,

Adam

**UPDATE**

Since this group is just getting started, let's hold off for a little longer for our introduction meeting...

********************************************************************************

There is a big NY Tech Meetup on Tuesday, February 6th (tomorrow) at 7:00 PM.

I plan on attending and thought it would be a good time to jumpstart our New York Enterprise 2.0 Meetup.

How about right after the NY Tech Meetup ends, we meet at the Ray's Pizza on the corner of 3rd Ave and St. Marks.

We can do quick introductions and try to schedule our first official meetup.

Use the RSVP to let me know if you can make it.
