Discuss SEO... How to Keep Your Web Clients Happy

This month we will focus the discussion on how to provide SEO services to your clients.

* What are the important metrics to report?
* How do you monitor and communicate progress?
* What are the best tools to automate reporting?
* How do I keep my clients happy?

All of these questions and more will be answered at this meetup event.

Note: this will not be a how-to on SEO, it will be about the business and reporting of SEO to clients.

Rachel Howe (Top Floor Technologies) and Scott Offord (Orion Group) are very excited to be discussing how you can implement new processes that could improve the quality of SEO services and level of communication you have with you own clients.

Space is limited. RSVP online to secure your spot now.

April's Web414 meetup is proudly sponsored by ProStaff Technical Resources and Mark Boeder.  Mark will be providing food and beverages and will be on hand to discuss opportunities in the development field that his staffing firm has available.

I enjoyed being able to present, however I think I could have elaborated more for each slide.

To any of those interested in tools, I suggest checking out SEM Rush for competitor information, Xenu and Screaming Frog for website scans to check for technical info on a website, Google Analytics for web analytics data, Raven tools for reporting and ranking data, Open Site Explorer for link evaluation, and Google's Adwords keyword tool for keyword research.

If I get to speak at another Meetup event, I hope to present a more detailed breakdown of my process with more concrete examples.

I'm glad we were able to share about SEO. There were a lot of questions and participation from the attendees.

Scott's portion on Organic Keyword and Non-related KW Optimization was very good. I particularly liked how he segregated the tactics into: Site-Wide, Usage Data and Geo-Targeting. Most people forget or do not realize their are ways to further emphasize your LOCAL PRESENCE. Well done, Scott!

The 2nd presenter was supposed to cover SEO Tools. Other than mentioning that she used InsightMetrics, Rachel did not discuss anything else about tools. Because she only read bullet points off the slides, without much elaboration. I figure that she's new to SEO? At least her portion was short...

Good overview for people who haven't delved into SEO before.

Great evening of shared information by speakers Scott Oxford and Rachel Howe. I value Scotts insights on SEO and related tools, and Rachel's presentation on keeping clients informed and in the loop.

Additional thanks to Mark Boeder of Pro Staff for sharing his current list of opportunities as well as the great pizza and wings!
