“ Web analytics are a tool to HELP understand how people use your web sites. If you don't start with good questions that are tied to either sales or cost savings then what is the point? That strikes me as self evident. Everything the speaker said could be summarized as "make sure everything you do with web analytics helps the business". I can't believe that people needed to be told that. He didn't really have any specific recommendations for how to come up with valuable reports. I heard many platitudes, but not much that could help people do their jobs better. ” -
