I'd like to attend this one, but can't make it on a Tuesday in September. I hope you'll do this again later in the year or on a Mon/Wed.

Mike et al - I do apologize that we didn't cover the practical elements enough. I'd planned to do that myself (but had some technical issues, as you may have seen). My slide deck includes some the information you mentioned and I'll add in a few other notes. And feel free to contact me with questions and I'll try to include them in my wrap up email later today.

I was a bit disappointed in with the presentations. I was looking for, and excepting more down-and-dirty tips on how to make a mobile website. The presentations were really more on general principles.

Let me start by saying how much I appreciate that you organized last night's event, but frankly, I was a bit disappointed by the focus. What I was expecting was more of a how-to presentation: how to use CSS to sniff devices; is the industry settling on any rough standards for screen size; technical tips and know-how, etc. Instead, a large portion of the evening was devoted to a sales pitch from NetBiscuits: "here's what we did for MTV, here's what we did for ESPN, etc. Contact us and we can do the same for your company." There was also much discussion of the lofty, high-level concepts of 'why' we should be looking at mobile web. IMO, we've pretty much all had those discussions already and come to those conclusions, which is why we attend events like this. I didn't need convincing. I did pick up a few nuggets, but as someone who wants to learn how-to, I didn't come away with much more than that. Please take this as positive criticism and maybe as suggestion for future events.

    Great and useful presentations!

This was my first time attending such an event and I left a bit disappointed. The presentation didn't provide much useful details and only covered the very basics. Netbiscuits presentation seemed more like a sales demo. It would have been helpful to provide some details of their technical architecture.

Couldn't see or hear very well from the back of the room. Presenters were OK.

Session was excellent and informative, and good networking. The Qorvis space is lovely and comfortable, but the acoustics are not great. Please advise all speakers to *project* more when talking. A lot of us just couldn't hear what was being said. Regular conversational speaking just isn't enough in that space. And always repeat the question.
