Designing for the Web - Strategies

For the first meeting, we will start by discussing the beginning design decisions and strategies that go into a website. We will go into the design process that web designers go through when creating a site, as well as some tools to make things more efficient. First impressions of the "front end" look of a site will be discussed as well as ways to organize a site.

Please come prepared with an example or two of your own design strategy, process, and/or tool to share. We can also discuss ways to improve and redesign existing websites. It helps to bring printouts, or a laptop with example(s). Wireless internet will be available at our meeting place.
