With our next meetup a little less than 4 weeks away, it's time to think about what we'd like to discuss. While I have a couple ideas, I don't know how many people are really interested in an exhaustive look at the history of horizontal rules or the top 25 perl scripts for displaying the current date. With that in mind, I'd be interested what you've been dying to talk about.
Curious about what CSS transitions can do for you? Fantastic! Want to pit the leading CMSs against each other in no-holds-barred cage match? Awesome! Maybe SEO has you staying up late? Let's ease your pain.
BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Now I'm always happy to let other people do all the work and take credit for it anyway. But if you don't actually want to be the one leading the discussion on your topic, that's fine; For a limited time only, you pick the topic, and I'll do the rest! Of course, if you're the kind of person who craves the spotlight, that's fine, too. But don't hold back because you're afraid you'll be volunteering to do the whole thing.
So send your burning questions and brilliant insights to me within the next week or so. Then look for a poll to decide the final topic.
Thanks, and I look forward to getting together.
PS: Feel free to send back any comments or suggestions you may have about this group in general. Even if you don't have a topic, if there's something you've been wanting to share, I'd love to hear it.
