What we’re about

This Washington DC group is for everyone interested in Web Design/Development, Graphics, Software Development, Mobile Development as well as in networking, building online businesses, self-empowerment and achieving one's Big Dream. Sometimes only a few web designer show up, therefore, we collaborate with similar groups which will meet at this same event for more new contacts, better networking, fun and mutual support. We appreciate the awesome leadership of Adam Zuckerman, Melanie Spring, Jim Chung and others at to facilitate entrepreneurship in the Wash. DC area!

RSVP and COME TO THE 3rd Sunday event and EXPECT THE UNEXPECTED! (This event is not limited to web developers.)

The first step is to get to know each other better to see if we are ready to work together harmoniously with appreciation, forgiveness and understanding. These monthly community events provide opportunities to practice being accepting, happy and to develop more allies for your project and to connect with others interested in similar topics. Express your interest to the co-organizers to volunteer to learn from each other and followup with actions to build a working relationship with goodwill and mutual trust. Then from personal direct experience your new contacts may help to connect you with the right people, community investors and resources for your advancement.

WHEN: 12:30PM TO 3:00PM on the third Sundays of each month. Followup small meeting for new volunteers may be held at the same location (at the Capital Professional Center, 2423 Pennsylvania Ave. NW, DC 20037 first floor conference room). If you plan to attend, email organizer12@gmail.com to reconfirm or call 202 496 1555.

These free monthly get-togethers help you to practice networking social skills, learn about resources and meet people who may turn out to be valuable to your career as references, investors, referrals, business mentors, success coaches, future clients, co-founders, partners etc. They are blessings if you can keep a positive attitude open to possibilities, demonstrate an interest in their projects, reflect attractive personal qualities and appreciation. These are opportunities to invest in yourself and your community. Practice being your best Self.  If you reflect similar values such as generosity, trust, communications and long term working relationships, you may be invited to participate in new and exciting collaborative projects.

A good way to diversify and get to know others better is to contribute some time to volunteer as a community builder and serve on the all volunteer Allies Team. The co-organizers of this group are looking for prospective web developers interested in participation and sharing tasks and revenues on new projects. Some may be invited to serve as "co-founders" at the perfect time. Some of the social entrepreneurial co-sponsors are sharing very valuable expertise and practical experience that have gained through building successful projects. Not only have they shared the best tools, websites, resources that they have used in their successful business, they have saved students so much time, in pointing them in the right direction. Co-organizers hope to work with other web and IT professionals interested in fulfilling their highest aspirations and willing to learn and share personal, IT and web development expertise.

Don't let your past stop you from moving ahead to become ALL you can be as social entrepreneurs/stakeholders as well as web developers. As you take the initiative to learn about and bridge the gap of understanding where investors, business owners, industry leaders, professionals and your prospective clients are coming from, what they want and why, you will increase your value to them as a web developer or member of a development team for a project because you understand their business, their industry. Your attitude, and your communications skills are what clients are looking for. Your happy presence also demonstrate your marketing readiness and suitable qualifications for working with your prospective clients. See message board for details. Thanks for your interest in collaborating and helping to build a beautiful community! Please RSVP for this group and we look forward to see you at these 3rd Sunday 12:30PM to 2:30PM for social and business networking events! (This restaurant will let networkers stay after the program to 4PM for one-on-one conversations.) If you reserve your 3rd and 4th Sundays of each month for new contacts, you'll end up with many more mutually supportive relationships to enrich your life and business this year! The flowers are for you!
